Nurwire manufactures FFC cables, FPC flexible printed circuits and RFC round flat cables for automotive electronics, medical equipment (ISO 9001 process only — we do not claim device-level medical certification), consumer electronics, industrial equipment and appliances. Capability covers three flexible interconnects. FFC: pitch 0.3–2.54 mm, 4–120+ pins, length, plating (bare copper, tin, gold, nickel), PET or PI insulation, EMI shields (copper foil, aluminium foil, silver mesh, conductive fabric, absorber) and stiffeners. Operating temperature −40°C to +105°C.
FPC: single to 8 layers, line/space to 0.05 mm, thickness about 0.12–0.3 mm, high-temperature PI or cost-effective PET, PI coverlay for flex life above 900,000 cycles.
RFC round flat cable solders round conductors to the PCB with no connector: custom pitch 1.0 / 1.25 / 1.27 / 2.0 / 2.54 mm, one or both ends round, tinning length, PET/PI/PVC insulation, and hybrid round-to-flat ZIF. Solder joints are checked for vibration.
Custom FFC and FPC can ship with ZIF-ready or solderable ends: tin, gold or selective gold plating, pitch 0.3–2.54 mm, matched to the mating family on your drawing — termination is part of the cable or circuit you order, not a standalone connector catalogue.
Quality is not optional. Incoming inspection (thickness, purity, adhesion, appearance), in-process checks (dimension, visual, electrical, mechanical) and outgoing inspection run under ISO 9001:2015. Materials meet RoHS and REACH; UL is pending. Target defect rate is below 0.1%.
