Incoming Material Inspection

Quality starts before the line runs. We inspect copper foil, polyimide and PET films, coverlay, round copper wire, adhesives and plating materials on arrival. Each lot is checked for thickness, purity, adhesion and appearance so only materials that meet the drawing enter production.

Dimensional Precision Inspection

Every FFC, FPC and RFC cable must match the drawing. Optical systems check conductor pitch from 0.3 mm to 2.54 mm, width and spacing (typically within ±0.05 mm), overall length, gold-finger position, stiffener size and RFC round-end alignment down to about ±0.01 mm.

Visual Inspection

Every piece is inspected by AOI and under magnification. We look for scratches, bubbles, delamination, contamination, exposed copper, plating defects, coverlay shift, bad folds and RFC round-end finish so appearance and structure stay intact.

Electrical Performance Testing

We test continuity and shorts on every circuit, measure insulation resistance (≥100 MΩ at DC 100 V) and run hi-pot (AC 500–1500 V) to catch breakdown. The goal is stable signal transmission on FFC, FPC and RFC cable lots before they leave the plant.

Mechanical Performance Testing

FFC, FPC and RFC cable must survive bending, insertion and pull. We run dynamic flex at a stated radius, insertion/withdrawal force, peel strength, coverlay adhesion and RFC solder-joint vibration cycles so the part lasts for the intended service life.

Environmental Reliability Testing

Lots are cycled from −40°C to +105°C, held at 85°C/85% RH, and checked with thermal shock and salt spray where the application needs it. The aim is electrical integrity and mechanical stability in automotive, industrial and outdoor use.

Solderability Testing

For FPC, RFC cable pads and connector terminations, wetting-balance checks confirm pads wet fully in about 2–3 seconds. Paste-print and reflow simulations verify that joints form as they will on the customer SMT line.

Outgoing Quality Control

Before any FFC, FPC or RFC cable leaves the plant, it passes final OQC — a 100% check covering electrical, mechanical and visual points already used in-process. Only lots that clear every gate are packed. Target defect rate is below 0.1%.
